A little natural history

A nocturnal leaf-dweller with red eyes, orange toes and blue-striped flanks. It rests with its limbs tucked in during daylight, revealing its dramatic colours as it moves through the canopy.

The wonderfully odd bit

A translucent third eyelid helps cover the eye while the frog rests.

Would this frog suit a home?

Create a planted climbing enclosure with ventilation, reliable environmental monitoring and appropriate live insects. Observe after dark and keep handling to essential husbandry.

Only consider legally obtained, captive-bred animals. Check permits and restrictions where you live, test the habitat first, and arrange an amphibian-experienced vet. This brief profile is not a complete husbandry sheet.
